Connect the DisplayPort male plug to the computer or graphics card, then connect a compatible HDMI male-to-male cable between the adapter and the display. Select the HDMI input and required display mode.
One-way operation: it converts DisplayPort source to HDMI display. It cannot connect an HDMI-source device to a DisplayPort monitor.
