The CABLETIME CF27 Series uses one 3.5mm TRS male plug and two 6.35mm / 1/4-inch TS male plugs. It is designed for connecting a stereo source to compatible mixers, amplifiers, powered speakers, audio interfaces and other equipment with separate mono inputs.

How the two 6.35mm plugs are used
The 3.5mm plug carries left and right stereo channels. The Y-split sends those channels to two separate 6.35mm TS plugs for compatible left/right or channel-1/channel-2 inputs.
Important:the 6.35mm outputs are mono TS plugs, not stereo TRS plugs. This cable does not combine two microphone signals, create balanced audio or convert digital audio.
